Jared Mazezka named Vice Chair of Generation Morgantown

We'd like to congratulate our Vice President of Business Development and Projects, Jared Mazezka on his new role of Vice Chair for the Morgantown Chapter of Generation Morgantown. Last year, Jared spent his time helping grow the organization as Marketing Chair, and this year, after a job well done comes more responsibility growing the chapter.

Generation Morgantown is run by a volunteer-led board that meets regularly. We welcome folks from all ages and backgrounds, but our work is targeted toward young people ages 18-40. Generation Morgantown is a local affiliate of Generation West Virginia, the statewide organization dedicated to attracting, retaining and advancing young people in the Mountain State.

From hosting a comedy night to raise money for the local Make-A-Wish Foundation to a fundraising 5k, we take a fun, boots-on-the-ground approach to helping our community through volunteer efforts.

And don’t worry. We leave plenty of time for cocktails and conversation (or whatever drink you choose). We host First Fridays every month to serve as fun, networking events. This summer we hosted Joggers & Lagers to make you work for your beer, meeting up to run two to four miles around Morgantown before landing at a local pub. Trust us, at Generation Morgantown events there is plenty of good food, great beverages, and even better company.

Jared has championed events for the American Cancer Society, Girl Scouts, and the Military Foundations. He's spent his entire life as a West Virginia Native, fan of the Mountaineers, and has great ties to the community.
